TKO Volunteer Vacation Sponsored by Pelican Brewing – Cascade Head

Hosted by Trailkeepers of Oregon with support from Pelican Brewing and Oregon State Parks. We are pleased to offer our first ever TKO Volunteer Vacations and adventure experience! Nestled in the forests of Cascade head and the Pacific Ocean crews will camp and live for a week of fun and adventure. TKO Crew Leaders, as well as partner and agency instructors, will deliver a comprehensive trails building experience, while providing a day off with a guided kayaking tour and dinner at Pelican Brewpub in Pacific City. Crews will work during the day to restore sections of trail on Cascade Head while at night enjoying a leaisurely camp experience with all meals provided and cooked as well as donations by Pelican Brewing. We’ve got the fun all figured out, plus food/refreshments and a beautiful place to stay! Come on out and help us give back to this iconic landscape while also enjoying all the luxurys of true Glamping. Tickets go on sale March 14th!

Cost of the event is $250 per person

Registration will require a $50 non- refundable deposit to reserve your spot on the crew (unless event is cancelled or postponed by TKO)

We will collect the remaining $200 two weeks prior to the event

Your registration includes:

• Personalized Training and instruction from experienced Crew Leaders
• Meals from Monday dinner through Friday lunch prepared by Camp Host Volunteer (vegetarian/vegan/gluten free options available)
• Lodging – Back Country Basecamp and Tent camping (bring your own tent and camping gear)
• Adventure Experience ( Shuttled and guided kayaking trip with Kayak Tillamook)
• Meal at Pelican Brewing ( after the Kayaking outing)

Monday

• Arrival
• Set-up camp
• Welcome and Orientation
• Work Site Orientation
• Dinner

Tuesday, Thursday

• Breakfast
• Trail party 9-3pm
• Return to basecamp for hot dinner and camaraderie

Wednesday ( Adventure Day)

• Breakfast
• Depart Camp for Kayaking Trip
• Dinner at Pelican Brewing
• Return to camp

Friday (Final day)

• Breakfast
• Finish project
• Tear down camp and Head home
