Come join us as Trailkeepers of Oregon and North Coast Land Conservancy partner to bring you Mini Tread School at the beautiful Circle Creek Conservation Area. At this one-day version of TKO’s Tread School training weekend, we’ll learn about trail design, practice identifying trail features and maintenance needs on the Legacy Loop Trail, and work in teams with guidance from TKO crew leaders to make trail repairs and improvements.
We prioritize safety and fun over quantity of work accomplished and encourage everyone to try different things and work at a comfortable pace. No experience is necessary — you’ll be working with experienced crew leaders who will teach you all you need to know. We’ll end the day with NCLC-provided beverages and salty snacks. We will work in moderate rain, but will cancel if weather becomes unsafe or impedes our ability to do quality work. Updates and details will be sent by email through Eventbrite, so please keep an eye on your inbox as the day approaches!
