McIver State Park, located on the Clackamas River between Oregon City and Estacada, is a 950-acre park with camping, boating, hiking and horseback riding opportunities for its visitors. There are over 14 miles of trails for hikers and horseback riders in the park.
Last month TKO volunteers worked on a trail realignment on the Maple Ridge trail, which will eliminate a short, steep, and slippery section of the trail. Now we will return to complete that project and decommision the existing trail segment. If time permits, we will work on another section of this trail where drainage is a problem.
The trail climbs gently from the trailhead to the ridge and then is flat. Total round trip hiking distance will not be more than 2 miles.
What to Expect

What to Bring
Bring your lunch and plenty of water. Also bring good work gloves and supportive boots.
