TKO is excited to return to Latourell Falls with PSU.   In general, our focus will be brushing back encroaching vegetation, improving drainage and restoring tread width, as well as polishing some of the work done by earlier crews.  We’ll be working about a half-mile section at the very top of the loop, on either side of Upper Latourell Falls.

You may be hiking up to 4-6 miles over steep terrain, which could potentially be muddy and very slippery. If you have questions or concerns about the hike, please contact volunteers@trailkeepersoforegon.org

What to bring:

Bring your lunch, snacks and plenty of water.

What to wear:

  • Hiking boots (wear something sturdy that will protect your toes from sharp tool. Tennis shoes and open toed shoes will not be allowed)

  • Long sleeved shirts recommended and long pants required

  • Rain gear as appropriate for the weather

  • TKO will supply hard hats and safety glasses

Directions to the worksite will be provided to registered volunteers no later than 48 hours prior to the work party date, along with any other necessary information.
