Work Party Location: Killin Wetlands Nature Park – Banks, OR

Description: TKO’s volunteer crew leaders will lead participants in trail drainage improvements that have caused damage due to unforeseen water flow through the area. Using hand tools to redirect water off trails, we will explore how hydrology and trail design can work together. Absolutely no prior trail work experience required!
Hiking: We will be hiking within approximately 25 yards from the trailhead, with very little elevation gain on heavily graveled trails.
What to bring:
2 liters of water, no drinking water is found on site
Personal snacks to fuel the morning.
A lunch to have at the end of trail party
What to wear:
Hiking boots that cover the ankle (Tennis shoes not recommended)
Long sleeved shirt and pants, no shorts permitted
Rain gear as appropriate for the weather
Hard hats and eye protection will be provided by TKO
